This could be useless ephemera, the sort of thing I'll look at in a month and chide myself for having wasted the time. But, for now, I "expended" the time to contribute to the National Dialogue Network, which says it seeks to "engage thousands, then millions, of people in important national scale issues in as collaborative, sustainable, diverse, and cost effective manner as possible."
Yeah, me too.
So anyway, I learned about this via the Debbie Hillman on the COMFOOD e-mail loop, and decided to look. Her reason for sharing it was that among 19 issues nominated, no part of the vast spectrum of food was included. As I commented to them, food is the ultimate sustainability issue, and especially when organizers included sustainability in their pitch, the omission was glaring.
If you're willing to expend a couple of minutes redressing this, click on over.
