Use old cell phones to stop rainforest destruction

By necessity, I have a jaundiced eye toward request for content placement on my blog, because too many of them turn out to be scams. But this one seems legit, and worthwhile as well.

Rainforest Connection is fighting poaching and illegal logging in the Amazon by recycling cell phones into detection pods that can pinpoint the activity in real time. To accomplish it, the group is on Kickstarter seeking funds, where it already has 2,200-plus backers.
