Two stories in the Globe today

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Though they weren't conceived in tandem, I had two stories on related topics in the Boston Globe today.

The business section's centerpiece is about farmer Joe Czajkowski of Hadley, Mass. A fascinating, very literate guy, he does a lot of business with schools and other institutions through the Mass. Farm To School Project.

The food section has a story about several school districts that are trying to bring more scratch cooking and fresh, local ingredients to their menus.

In concert with the latter story, I have an interview with Kim Szeto on my blog. She's the Farm To School coordinator for the Boston schools.
