A big boon for Cape Wind

Derek Kravitz of the Washington Post reports that the Interior Department has certified that Cape Wind won't harm the environment. Unless legislators raise any more objections, a final "record of decision" should be issued within 30 days.

Kravitz also reports, however, that at least one legislator may raise more objections: "I do not believe that this action by the Interior Department will be sustained," Kennedy said in a statement. "By taking this action, the Interior Department has virtually assured years of continued public conflict and contentious litigation."

I wonder if Teddy knows how bad he looks.
